A radically creative approach to controlling small AI agents by means of business process management: combine MUD (MultiUser Dungeon) architecture with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) to create stateful, message-routed simulations. Instead of abstract workflows, visualize business processes as pneumatic air tube networks connecting agents in a virtual world—where objects persist, AI personalities emerge, and humans can participate directly. This essay shows how modern LLMs make this previously impractical architecture viable, enabling tiny AI brains to run in web pages while managing complex workflows through elegant metaphor.
